2,800 sq. ft. of restored, historic barn. The barn consists of the main floor area, and an upper-level lofted area accessible by a custom built, 12-ft staircase. 



Red Star Barn is located in the foothills of the stunning Walla Walla Blue Mountains, and is the perfect setting for an event, with its majestic views and rural backdrop. 



  • A large but intimate custom made bar is a feature inside the barn, complete with a large chest refrigerator to chill Walla Walla wines, craft beer from breweries across the Pacific Northwest, and bottles of champagne
  • Two parking areas, an ADA parking space, and a circular driveway with plenty of room for guest shuttles and vendors to maneuver with ease of access.
  • Interior and exterior cafe lighting, as well as recessed lighting and exterior flood lights.
  • Staffing for event coordination and logistics.


What is the guest capacity of the property?

Our maximum capacity for a seated reception inside the barn, is 120 guests (more for a standing reception). Outside we can host 250 guests for both ceremony and reception.

How big is the venue?

The barn is 2,800 square feet. There is also an additional three acres of property, including a 8,000 square feet ceremony and reception site, perfect for weddings, parties, corporate gatherings, concerts, and other special events. 

Does Red Star Barn provide tables and chairs for events? 

We have two custom made wood tables to use for staging favors, gifts, guest book, wedding cake, etc., but do not provide tables and chairs for events, at this time. Please see 'Rentals' under our Vendor Partners page for information on where to source farmhouse tables and vineyard chairs, or any additional items that you might need to secure for your event.

Can we bring in our own vendors or caterers?

While we have a list of preferred vendors who we feel are the best for the barn, great at what they do, and can bring out the best of your event, we are not opposed to working with you on accommodating a vendor who may be new to us. Please have your caterers, if not offered through the barn, contact us for requirements and serving guidelines at Red Star Barn.

Can I bring in my own beverages, including alcohol?


Can I serve my alcohol to my guests at the Red Star Barn event venue?

Nope. You will need security and a licensed bartender on the premises when serving guests or family members. For a small fee, trained and licensed Red Star Barn staff can perform this duty for you.
